Series 10 of Doctor Who is bringing back the original Cybermen, and in celebration of this momentous occasion, the DWCA is holding an event dedicated to our favourite cybernetic creations!
As well as featuring all our regular games, discussion and prizes, the DWCA is excited to announce a SPECIAL GUEST for the day. Josh Campbell is an executive producer at Planet 55 Studios, the animation studio that recently recreated missing episodes from The Tenth Planet and The Moonbase, as well as The Reign of Terror. Having worked as an editor on both The Moonbase and The Tenth Planet, Josh will give us an exclusive insight into how he and his team gave the Cybermen new, animated life.
The DWCA Shop will also be open on the day with a wide range of merchandise, including some explosive new audio dramas from Big Finish Productions. John Hurt teams up with Louise Jameson’s Leela in his final outing as the War Doctor, Casualties of War, while the Eighth Doctor faces Weeping Angels, the Meddling Monk and more on his mission to save the universe in Doom Coalition 4.
The Shop is also carrying a range of newly acquired graphic novels featuring the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors. And for fans of Captain Jack, don’t miss the first instalment of the new Torchwood graphic novel range, co-written by none other than John Barrowman himself!
