Doctor Who has always had a wonderful ability to not take itself too seriously, which has resulted in some cracking comic capers throughout the years. From tongue-in-cheek historicals, to biting satire, to unintentionally camp classics, there’s certainly been no shortage of comedy in the TARDIS – and since they do say laughter is the best medicine, we think a healthy dose of good humour is just what the Doctor ordered!

Catch up on the latest episodes with The Complete Eleventh Series and Resolution on DVD/Blu-ray, or revisit the Fifth Doctor’s era with the limited edition Season 19 Collection on Blu-ray. There’s also a swathe of original audio drama from Big Finish Productions, including a new companion for the Fourth Doctor and the audio debut of shape-shifting android Kamelion!
