Remember when science fiction films were epic and unforgettable? It wasn’t the CGI that made these films epic, though – it was the amazing original stories and the incredible characters that took you on them.
In celebration of the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Ritz Cinema is going to take a trip through sci-fi history throughout October and November.
From incredible directors Ridley Scott, James Cameron, Paul Verhoeven, Joss Whedon, John McTiernan and the one and only Stanley Kubrick, the cinema will be showcasing 8 epic masterpieces over 7 weeks. Martians, robots, lasers, spaceships, new worlds, old friends, let’s discover our imaginations again…
