					<description><![CDATA[The team behind the recent animation of The Power of the Daleks has been commissioned to animate Shada, the legendary &#8220;lost&#8221; Fourth Doctor story. Shada has a long and complicated history in Doctor Who circles. Initially planned to end the seventeenth season of the programme, the scripts were completed by then-script editor Douglas Adams, now best known for The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The BBC have announced they will be releasing a fully re-animated version of Power of the Daleks. Power of the Daleks, first broadcast back on the fifth of November, 1966 was the second Doctor&#8217;s (Patrick Troughton) first on screen adventure. Unfortunately, the story was not kept after original broadcast and the master negatives were purged back in 1974. The new animated episodes will be released in black and white animation and are based on audio recordings of the programme using the original cast. Current President Lauren Davis and Secretary Roger Reynolds were the only ones to run for their respective positions; they were thus elected unopposed. Two nominations had been received for the position of Treasurer, but one nominee withdrew their nomination prior to the election. The sole remaining nominee, Brad Harrison, was thus elected unopposed.
