David Suchet to appear in series ten

The BBC has announced that David Suchet will appear in series ten. Suchet is best known for playing Agatha Christie’s Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot. He has also played Augustus Melmotte in the 2001 British serial The Way We Live Now, a role which won him the Broadcasting Press Guild and Royal Television Society best actor awards. Suchet will play the role of The Landlord in series ten, currently being recorded in Cardiff. He will appear in an episode written by Mike Bartlett, best known for writing Doctor Foster for BBC One in 2015

Tom Baker to be in Star Wars Rebels

Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker has been announced over the weekend to be in the Star Wars Animated Series – Star Wars Rebels. The animated show, which is now entering its third season has Baker playing a character called “Bendu”. The Bendu is a new character that represents the centre way of the Force. On Friday 29 April, the DWCA held its first ever book club meeting – a gathering which gave the club’s bibliophiles a chance to get together and share their favourite Doctor Who stories and authors.
